Xx La Part-Dieu xX

La Part-Dieu is situated in the third arrondissement of Lyon on the left bank of the Rhône ( the river who past through Lyon. ) It's a big center business, with forty thousand workers.

Into la Part-Dieu, they are a big shooping center. It's the first European shooping center. It was built in 1975, on four level. We can acces to the subway by the underground of the shooping center. It's the biggest French shooping center, with more than two hundred and sixty shops, and thirty millions visitors each year.

Don't forget the railling station : La Part-Dieu, who is the biggest ralling station of Lyon. It was built in 1975.

Xx La Maison des Canuts xX

At the 19 century, the canuts appeared in Lyon. They was a lot of workers, so they had to live in horrible and smally flat. They had to worked very hard and they earned a pitance. The machines called "La Bistanclaque"-> It's a big and strong machine. They kept their machine in their house, so they could worked the night to. They lived at the Croix Rousse, a big (and lovely) district. They had a difficult life (The canuts did many rebellions) .

The Maison des Canuts is a museum about this ancien job. Here, you can see how the canuts did this hard work. The Bistanclaques help you to imagine the past. It's a beautiful and big museum who tell to us who the canuts worked very hard. You know what? Guignol is a canuts!

Xx Le Parc de la Tête d'Or xX

There are 7 entrances but the most impressive is the " Enfants du Rhône" gate which opens out onto the lake, the centerpiece of the park's landscape design. There are some immense romantic lawns often over a hundred years old.
The flower beds, rose and peony gardens bring a year-round touch of color and perfume.

In a part of the parc, there are many animals: Hinds, bears, monkeys, elephants, lyons, goats horses, giraffes...

You can touch the Hinds and caress the goats. Sometimes, there are special days, and you can go inside the enclosure with the man who get care of the animals.

There is a big vivarium with snake and long lezard. It's lugubrious and hot there.

Xx Guignol xX

It's a famous puppet of the French theatre. Guignol was invented by the Lyonnais "Laurent MOURGUET" ( 1769-1804 ).Many children love Guignol and it is the star of Lyon. It's the signature of the city. The Puppet is very old, but nobody forgot it.

It exist a specialy theatre for the puppet in Le Vieux Lyon. It's an beautiful and old theatre. In Lyon, there are many walls with a picture of Guignol.

The song of Guignol:

Xx Le vieux Lyon xX

Le vieux Lyon is the oldest district of Lyon. By 1960, it was completely forgotten. Many people live there, but it was a sad and dangerous district. We have to wait to 1970 until we start to rebuild it. Few years later, Le vieux Lyon was a lovely city.

Now, it's very famous and touristic. You can see the ancien and pretty architecture, and their museums. If one day you are in Lyon, you're oblige to visit Le vieux Lyon!
